Northern International Educational & Research Centre (Society) Ghurkari (Kangra) Himachal Pradesh has been established in the year 2002 vide Registration No. 1935/2002 C.H.R.C, for the upliftment of people of India in general and people of Himachal Pradesh in particular, with a view to promote educational activities and prepare our younger generation to face the challenges of new millennium.
The Society is located on the National Highway 20 (Pathankot – Mandi Road) which is 4 kms from Gaggal Airport, 5 kms from Kangra city & 12 kms from Dharamshala. The Society with its sylvan environment, panoramic view and sprawling campus with vast land an area of a unique kind. Green Forest hill on the back & lush green campus with a scenic view of Dhauladhar range produces a miraculous impact an the heart n’ soul of the students & the visitors. Blossoming flowers of numerous varieties & herbal plants all around the campus add essence to the eternal beauty of the campus.
The Society has been working in the field of education for last 18 years to serve the cause of education in the state of Himachal Pradesh. At present, the Society is running two educational institutions i.e. Scholars’ International School (Nursery till 10+2) affiliated to CBSE, having approx 1100 students and Sharan College of Education for Women (B.Ed. & D.EI.Ed.) affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University & HP Board Dharamshala and recognized by NCTE having two units in B.Ed. and D.EI.Ed.
